Fruit Paintings Are Yummy!
We are so happy that Maui has opened back up, after more than a year of COVID closure. Our local businesses have really suffered, even as we locals secretly enjoyed the lack of tourists at our favorite hang outs. Life is one stream of good news and bad news, so we take the lead from these fruit paintings and make lemonade out of lemons!
A local shop owner reached out to me to offer some of my paintings in her shop. Together with my collaborator, Liat Choucroun, we made 10 fruit and vegetable paintings, with my abstract style and Liat’s drawing skills. We love how they turned out! At 10” x 10” each, they are just large enough to hang on their own, and, they really come to life in groupings of two or more!
