Hermine Harman was initially contacted by her gallery, Enchantress by Bootzie, to collaborate on a piece with another of their resident artists, James Freeborn Welch. James had a vision of a larger-than-life image of one of his heroes, Albert Einstein, with a Hermine flare! As a lifelong feminist, she was then inspired to paint some of HER heroes on her own. These are large format paintings — up to 48” x 48”. Each painting has been donated to causes supported by each of the women who were painted to support their fundraising efforts.
