Wow! Thank you to Bootzie and Jim for hosting this gallery opening for me – what a great way to celebrate my 70 years here on earth. We had well over 100 people attend, and, according to Jim Freeborn Welch (one of the gallery owners) it was the largest opening he’s seen on Maui in 27 years in the business!
In addition to showing (and selling!) my art, I also gave a performance to “express” the how and why of my artistic process. I thought it was a fabulous evening! Big thanks to Cara, my studio assistant, Rachel Deboer,Carey and Ben of Event Horizon Services, and of course Bootzie and Jim for hosting such a wonderful party and showing my art.
It’s all about the glitter, bout the glitter.
It’s all about the glitter bout the glitter.
Oh say can you see all that glitters is me.
Glitter signifies the climax of life, fireworks, fun, celebration and it’s everywhere — in your hair, on your face, and sometimes even your eyes, but who cares because it brings the begazzled, bejazzled, bejeweled, and glittergasms into your life!
